Expects sales to top $1.3 billion by 2020.

L’Oreal, the world’s biggest cosmetics group, plans to quadruple sales over the next seven years in India, the fastest-growing beauty market in the world, according to Reuters.The company, which today opened a research center in Mumbai to develop products specifically for Indian consumers, aims to grow sales to 70 billion rupees ($1.3 billion) by 2020, according to CEO Jean-Paul Agon. “Out of the 66 shades of skin color found in this world, more than 40 are found in India....
